Dear reader,

This site is dedicated to bringing everyone the latest updates and events of our son, Elder J. Alexander Curtis, during his two year service in the Belgium, Brussels/Netherlands Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Elder Curtis is serving in the French speaking areas of this mission which are primarily comprised of the southern portions of Belgium and northern France.

Most of the posts will be copies of his email and letters home, usually once a week.  We will on occasion add other posts, photos and content relevant to his service and experiences.  We hope that everyone following this blog will come to appreciate Elder Curtis’ testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through his letters and comments.  The mere fact that at the age of twenty he has elected to put aside all of his worldly concerns and serve the Lord for two years is a poignant testimony to his faith in the Savior Jesus Christ and his work “to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.1

If you are not a member of the Church we invite you to follow this blog and ponder the messages and testimonies that are shared here.  In them you will find the answers to many of life’s questions: Who am I? Why am I here? What happens when I die?  If you want to know more about the Church, or request a visit by missionaries serving in your area contact me or visit mormon.org.

To stay updated, you may subscribe to automatically get updates via email or via RSS feed.

Sincerely,

Marshall J. Curtis
